Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Purpose and Acceptance

This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made from Trigga (Pty) Ltd., including physical beacon products and digital services. By placing an order or subscribing to our platform, you agree to the terms below. Trigga reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time without prior notice, and such changes will apply to all transactions made thereafter.


2. Order Cancellations

2.1 Before Dispatch

  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided that processing or shipment has not commenced.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@trigga.com, quoting the order number.
  • Trigga reserves the right to deduct administrative or payment processing fees from any approved cancellation.

2.2 After Dispatch

  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Customers wishing to return items must follow the return procedure outlined below. Shipping fees and associated costs are non-refundable.


3. Returns and Refunds

3.1 Eligibility for Return

Refunds or exchanges are only granted under the following strict conditions:

  • The item was received defective, damaged in transit, or incorrectly supplied.
  • The customer notifies Trigga in writing within 7 days of delivery.
  • The product is returned in unused condition, in its original packaging, with all components and accessories intact.

Items returned that do not meet these criteria will be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price.

3.2 Exclusions

No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted for:

  • Used or installed items
  • Products damaged by improper handling, tampering, or modification
  • Sale or promotional items
  • Custom or personalized beacons
  • Lost or stolen goods after confirmed delivery

3.3 Condition Verification

All returned items will be inspected upon receipt. Trigga reserves the right to reject a refund or exchange if the product fails inspection or appears to have been used.


4. Digital Platform Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions to the Trigga digital platform are non-refundable once activated.
  • Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no prorated refunds are provided.
  • Refunds for annual subscriptions may only be granted if the user cancels within 5 calendar days of purchaseand has not made meaningful use of the platform (as determined solely by Trigga).
  • Trigga reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate platform terms, without refund.


5. Return Shipping and Costs

  • If the return is due to an error on Trigga’s part (defective, damaged, or incorrect product), Trigga will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse reasonable return costs.
  • For all other cases, including change of mind or customer error, the buyer bears all return shipping costs and assumes the risk of loss or damage during return transit.


6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days from receipt and inspection of the returned product.
Refunds are made to the original payment method only. Trigga is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions.

 

7. Non-Delivery and Lost Packages

If a package is reported lost or undelivered:

  • Claims must be filed within 10 days of the expected delivery date to the distributer.
  • Trigga will investigate with the carrier; if delivery is confirmed, no replacement or refund will be issued.
  • Trigga bears no responsibility for incorrect shipping details provided by the customer.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Trigga be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
  • Delays in shipping or delivery caused by third parties;
  • Misuse or improper installation of products.

Trigga’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product in question.

 

9. Policy Updates

Trigga reserves the right to revise this Policy at any time without notice. The version in effect at the time of the customer’s purchase will govern that transaction.
